“KSWELI and the found her program will provide me with the community and the mentorship to take my idea from the concept to a final product. My goal is that by the end of the semester I will get beta readers feedback, finalize the book, and self publish, and market the book through author readings and social media. If the book does well I’d like to plan for expansion to accompanying coloring pages and a sequel.”

I always babysit and work with kids. I saw a kids book in one of the rooms that was customized with the child’s name and hair color. I also know that kids love books and activities that are interactive. I thought that making an interactive story book would be a great idea that kids would love.
