FoundHER – Heristic

“Being an entrepreneur has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. It’s an incredible thing to conceptualize a business and then bring that vision to fruition. What’s even more amazing is the journey you embark on to get to this point. Over the last year, I’ve been grateful and consistently amazed by the strong and powerful women entrepreneurs I’ve encountered. It is organizations and groups, like the Kendra Scott WEL Institute, that have provided the environment, resources, and encouragement that I needed as an entrepreneur to feel empowered to overcome those challenging days and insurmountable obstacles. I believe behind every powerful woman is a pride of other strong women.”

“Stepping into entrepreneurship has been the most rewarding professional risk I’ve taken. In this endeavor, I have been able to bring my passion for inclusion and empowerment to the forefront of my work for the first time in my career, and gratefully found myself in a community of like-minded entrepreneurial women who lead the charge on doing good in our community. Looking back, I am grateful for the communities at UT and McCombs that instilled the tools and resources required to launch a venture like this. With the support of the accomplished, brilliant women in communities like the WEL Institute, anything is possible.”
