About this Session:

Navigating Life’s Transitions: Pivoting in Work and in Life

Whether you’re about to graduate and are feeling uncertain about your next steps, are facing unexpected personal challenges, or engaging with the post-Covid work environment for the first time, navigating life’s transitions can be challenging. As an entrepreneur who has explored two very different career paths, teaching herself an entirely new skill set and learning about business from scratch, and as a survivor of a severe traumatic brain injury who has had to learn how to manage life with an acquired disability, Michal has experienced the need to pivot and build herself into something new multiple times. Join us for a discussion on how to face the unexpected and learn the art of adaptability and resilience.

About the Speakers:

Michal Morrison, Sr. Founder of Genesis Molecular Technologies and Michal Morrison

Michal Morrison is an Austin-based entrepreneur and founder of Genesis Molecular Technologies, a biotechnology organization, and her eponymous skincare brand, Michal Morrison. A former archaeologist, Michal has worked extensively on Bronze and Iron Age sites across the Mediterranean, Middle East, and Europe. As a survivor of a traumatic brain injury, Michal advocates for wider inclusion and broader support for founders and entrepreneurs with disabilities.
