About this Session:

The Empowerment Through Mentorship

The Empowerment Through Mentorship Workshop is designed to help mentees foster meaningful connections with experienced mentors. This dynamic workshop aims to empower individuals to unlock their full potential, achieve personal and professional growth, and navigate their unique paths to success. We will cover: how to find a mentor, make your ask, and maintain the relationship. During this interactive workshop, participants will be introduced to the benefits of mentorship, gaining insights into the power of guidance, support, and encouragement. The workshop will focus on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, where mentees can openly discuss their goals, challenges, and aspirations.

Interested in Being a Mentor?

This semester, we’re aiming to have each session not only be an opportunity to learn but also an opportunity to start putting what they learned into practice – this is where you come in!

The first 30 minutes of the session will be the speaker walking the students through the content, then the last 30 minutes will be an opportunity for the students to practice the networking tips and tricks they just learned with you. No preparation needed, just show up and help us provide a friendly, low-stakes environment for our students to start getting comfortable networking with potential mentors and practice their mentor pitch/ask!
