“Attending the FoundHER panels as a member of the student board has been so informative and encouraging to me as a young entrepreneur. I felt connected to the entrepreneurs on the stage, and knew I could learn so much from them. I look forward to hearing from them in a more dedicated way and especially am excited about the mentorship that will help me grow my business. I think this will help me look before I leap any further.”
“My business had an unconventional start. In fact, I didn’t know I even had a business at first. A family friend asked me to create a grazing table for a 75-guest Galentines’ Day party. I said “yes,” thinking it would be fun, but having absolutely no clue how long it would take to assemble. As I was putting the finishing touches on the board, the guests had already arrived. While I thought it was not an auspicious start, it was actually a blessing in disguise. I got my next order while I was cleaning up and decided to formally create a business from the opportunity.”
