What inspired me to be an entrepreneur is my love for turning ideas into action. I’ve always loved brainstorming creative solutions, presenting them, and meeting people who challenge and inspire me. Entrepreneurship gives me the chance to build, communicate, and connect.
One of my proudest moments was speaking with cancer patients during Breast Cancer Awareness Month at a summit. As we explained Apovo’s vision, I saw the look in their eyes shift from uncertainty to hope — validating that what we’re building can offer real help and comfort to people who need it most.
How Did You Come Up With The Idea For Your Business?
The idea for Apovo came from my time volunteering at hospitals and listening to patients share their stories. Hearing their struggles with confusion, fear, and lack of ongoing support after appointments made me realize how much of cancer care happens outside the doctor’s office — and how technology could bridge that gap.
